Ambrozi Redi-Mix Concrete

Starting pay: $25.00 per hour

Pay increases to $27.00 per hour following successful completion
of the 60-day probationary period. Overtime opportunities may be available based
on operational needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ability to follow directions and accurately receive, comprehend, and follow instructions from dispatch, including efficient handling of delivery tickets.
• Drive the truck in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspect destination job sites to verify the truck can be safely maneuvered.
• Maintain radio contact with dispatch.
• Clean and rinse chutes and the rear of the truck between loads.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle condition.
• Immediately report mechanical problems, safety concerns, accidents, damage, or maintenance needs.
• Review delivery tickets and verify the correct customer, job-site address, concrete mix, quantity, and delivery instructions.
• Inspect the delivery area and confirm that the truck can enter, operate, and exit safely.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance, including checking fluid levels, adding fluids as necessary, lubricating, fueling the truck, and replacing mud flaps when needed. May assist mechanics with vehicle repairs.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, plant procedures, and job-site safety requirements.
• Attend required safety meetings, driver training, mixer-operation training, and company meetings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional truck.
• Follow approved washout procedures and environmental requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

• A valid Class B CDL or Class A CDL.
• Air-brake qualification without an air-brake restriction.
• A current DOT Medical Qualification, or the ability to obtain one.
• Previous ready-mix concrete truck experience.
• A safe and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Knowledge of ready-mix delivery procedures, mixer controls, chutes, slump, washout procedures, and job-site safety.

Physical and Work Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Frequently enter and exit a commercial mixer truck.
• Climb steps and ladders while maintaining three points of contact.
• Sit and drive for extended periods.
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
• Handle and position concrete chutes and related equipment.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work safely around wet concrete, moving vehicles, heavy equipment, dust, noise, vibration, and active construction operations.
• Work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind, and changing weather conditions.
• Work at elevated areas of the truck when inspections or cleaning duties require it.
• Wear required personal protective equipment throughout the shift.

Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team.
This position is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing
heavy equipment in both field and shop environments.

The Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic will work with a variety of construction and specialty equipment,
respond to field breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and help ensure equipment remains safe,
reliable, and ready for operation. This position may also require operating heavy machinery and specialty
equipment as needed to support project operations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with heavy equipment, strong mechanical and troubleshooting
skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and related components.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to company schedules, manufacturer recommendations, and equipment requirements.
• Respond to field breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete safe and effective repairs without creating additional damage or unsafe operating conditions.
• Keep equipment operational, clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Safely operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, dozers, and other site equipment as required.
• Operate the Stripe Hog Truck and other specialty or site equipment when required.
• Follow established safety procedures and best operating practices on all projects.
• Work closely with equipment operators, supervisors, and other team members to support successful project completion.
• Complete work orders, inspection forms, service logs, repair notes, time records, and parts-usage records accurately and on time.
• Document equipment issues, troubleshooting performed, repairs completed, parts used, and final equipment status.
• Record equipment mileage, operating hours, fluids, filters, maintenance intervals, and inspection results when required.
• Report lost, damaged, stolen, or broken tools and equipment immediately.
• Assist equipment operators with proper daily inspections, fluid-level checks, greasing procedures, warning-light identification, and shutdown procedures.
• Clearly communicate when equipment should not be operated due to mechanical or safety concerns.
• Verify that repaired equipment is safe and operational before returning it to service.
• Travel to project locations as required to perform maintenance, repairs, equipment support, or other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Previous heavy equipment mechanic, construction equipment, or related mechanical experience preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment and related mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and operating systems preferred.
• Ability to safely operate heavy machinery and equipment as required.
• Must possess any licenses, certifications, or qualifications required to operate assigned equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately complete maintenance, repair, inspection, and equipment records.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace, equipment, and job-site safety.
• Ability and willingness to travel when required for projects.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel to project and job-site locations as needed. Travel frequency and duration
will depend on project requirements and equipment-support needs.
